The two stayed consistent in the first half, sinking the majority of their shots. The Marauder women kept themselves in the game on the backs of Savannah Irwin and Lilly Berg throughout the game. Berg and Irwin combined for a total of 53 points on the night and kept the boards in their teams favor on both offense and defense. "Both teams had two big players that helped out big time," said S-E coach Karen Mulligan. "Both girls had tremendous games tonight."

The second half kept the two teams close all the way until the final whistle as the game came down to the last few seconds. "The fourth quarter really came down to free throws," Mulligan said. "We went 8-15 in the fourth quarter and they went 8-8. We left a lot of points on the line tonight."

S-E was 19-35 from the free throw line while Frankfurt-Skyler finished 15-18. Although the Marauder women made the bulk of their shots, they left a lot of points on the court when it mattered most.
