MCDONOUGH – Oxford, McDonough and Preston Fire Departments along with the City of Norwich ladder company responded to a reported trailer fire Wednesday afternoon after a passerby witnessed heavy smoke bellowing from a residences located at 454 Corbin Rd.

According to dispatch records, a 911 call received at approximately 4:10 p.m. reported the structure fully involved and that a vehicle was in the driveway. Initially, it was unknown by firefighters if the residence had occupants or not, but later reports confirmed that no one was home.
