May The Force Be With Us, Patrollers! It's time to mark an occasion that started 35 years ago and that was with the debut of the first Star Wars movie. No one could ever predict what kind of impact it would have on our culture or around the World. Thanks to Writer/Director George Lucas he brought something into our lives that would change how we view movies. Now with JJ Abrams (Star Trek) he brings a continuation of the saga with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" which came into theaters all over the world last weekend. The Toddster plans on seeing it and it will be featured in a future patrol. For now, we thought we would feature our favorite past Star Wars that can be found on DVD. Check these out!

Star Wars-(Episode I)- The Phantom Menace-(1999)- Every legend has to get its' start someplace. It seems the trade federation has blockaded the World of Naboo and now no one can get to them. Now a request has been sent out to the Jedi Order who keep the peace in the Galaxy. They have sent Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson) and Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan Mcgregor). They have been sent to negotiate with the Federation to release Naboo from their blockade. Things don't go as expected and now the Jedi Knights have to go on a rescue mission for Queen Padmei (Natalie Portman). They are ordered to bring her to the republic so she can plead her case. During their escape, their ship is damaged and they crashland on the planet of Tattooine where they meet a young boy named Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd). The federation also sends a sith lord who serves someone working behind the scenes. This person doesn't want the Queen revealing what's happening. Can Anakin help the Jedi and aid the Queen so she can save her planet?

Star Wars-(Episode III)-Revenge Of the Sith-(2005)- Even legends don't work out as everyone sees. There was a legend of someone who would bring balance to the force. Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christiansen) and his Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi (Ewan Mcgregor) have been fighting to bring order to the Republic but it's been a long and hard fight Now they're nearing the ending of it. Anakin's life has been changed because what no one knows is he got married to Senator Padmei (Natalie Portman). He also learns that they're about to have a baby. Obi Wan and the Jedi Order have suspicions that there is someone who's trying to bring the Republic down. They have reason to believe it's the Leader of the republic Supreme Chacellor Palpatine (Ian Mcdirmid). The Jedi want to use Anakin and his friendship with Palpatine to prove what they suspect. Palpatine also seems to have knowledge of events that seem to have an impact on Anakin and he knows that Padmei may be in danger. He wants to use this to manipulate Anakin into bringing him over to the Dark Side. What will he do next?

Star Wars- (Episode V)-The Empire Strikes Back (1980)- Years have passed but legends can come through with time. Now Anakin Skywalker has become Darth Vader and now the Republic has been taken over by the Galactic Empire led by Emperor Palpatine. A rebellion has come about led by Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), and their ally Han Solo (Harrison Ford). Vader and the Empire are now in pursuit of Luke and his friends. The energy field known as the Force that gives all Jedis their power has been detected in Luke. Vader wants to use that connection to bring him over to the Dark Side. Vader goes after Han and Leia to use them as bait against Luke. Luke has power but he doesn't know how to use it. With the aid of Jedi Master Yoda, can Luke learn enough to save his friends and stop Vader?

Star Wars-(Episode VI)- Return Of The Jedi- (1983)- Legends have to come to an end sometime. After Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) saved his friends from Darth Vader, it wasn't without some cost. Han Solo (Harrison Ford) was frozen by bounty hunter and was taken away. Luke also lost his right hand during the battle and Vader revealed that he really was Luke's Father Anakin Skywalker. Time has passed and Luke finally has control over the Force. He goes to rescue Han with Leia (Carrie Fisher) and their new friend Lando Calrissan (Billy Dee Williams). Luke also knows that Vader is still out there waiting for him so he can take him and the rest of the rebellion down. Will Luke and the rest of his friends be able to stop the Empire once and for all?

This is just a little something to get you ready for the new movie. All six Star Wars movies are now available on DVD and Blu Ray in stores now. We can't to see this one. New DVDS for next time. The Toddster will be back, and wishes all of you a Merry Christmas!
