Friday night proceeding the Norwich varsity girls home game against Chenango Forks, their Booster Club recognized a group of local businesses who have been very generous in their sponsorship of the girls basketball program. In no particular order the businesses that were recognized are: Apple Converting represented by Andy Pratt; Burrell's Excavating represented by Skip Seiler; Mid York Press represented by Pat Dowdall; NBT-Mang Insurance Agency represented by Daniel Grady; NBT Bank; Nina's Pizzeria and Restaurant represented by Annabell Yerton; The Pennysaver; Chobani; and Blue Ox Eenergy. Each of the representatives for the businesses that were recognized were given a small gift as a token of gratitude. The girls would go on to crush the Blue Devils 74-30 securing the win at home on the night.
