SHERBURNE – As part of a month long petition drive to enable Bernie Sanders to be a candidate for presidential nominee in the April 19 Democratic Primary, Friends of Sustainable Chenango is hosting a Voter Registration Event in conjunction with ‘Chenango for Bernie’ is participating at a Voter Registration Event at the Sherburne Public Library, 2 East State Street, Sherburne, NY, on Saturday, January 23, 2016 beginning at 12 Noon and running until 3 p.m.

During the event, the local 'Chenango for Bernie' group invites unregistered voters who wish to enroll as voters, as well as registered Democrats who wish to signup for Bernie to attend. 

With the January 28 deadline for petitions looming, those who may have put off getting out to sign the petition for Bernie are strongly encouraged to make it out to the event.

Those unable to attend this event wishing to sign up should call 895-6975 and leave callback information, and all persons circulating petitions for the April presidential primary are welcome to use the space as well in order to gather signatures for their candidates.
