New Movie Picks for 2016-Part 2
X-Men- Apocalypse (May 27)- The Mutant heroes are back in action to stop a new enemy from the past as well as the future. Professor Charles Xavier (James Mcavoy) must once again unite with his old friend Magneto (Micheal Fessbender) and assemble their team of X-Men lead by Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) to take down a new enemy who they learn may be the First Mutant known only as "Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac). Charles believes they have a good shot but further analysis reveals this enemy may not be so easy to defeat. Can they find a way to stop this new nemesis before it's too late?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (June 3) - Our heroes in a half shell are back in action to defend New York City with new enemies and new allies too. Leonardo, Donatello, Michealangelo, and Raphael are on the streets again with Investigative Reporter April O'Neill (Megan Fox). She's always on the trail of a hot story. There may be signs that there are still a few foot soldiers still around and the Shredder may be around. Nothing can prepare them for what may coming next when there are also signs of some new mutants out there calling themselves "Rock Steady and "Be-Bop" who just give the guys a run for their money. April also meets Casey Jones (Stephen Amell) (Wait, I Know that guy) who has his own idea of how to fight for justice. Do the Turtles have the right stuff this time around to stop these new enemies?
Now You See Me 2- (June 10)- A Magician is never supposed to reveal their secrets but there is always the chance they may have another trick or two up their sleeve. Two years ago, the four horsemen performed to sell out crowds where they spread the wealth and were able to expose companies that brought misery to many people. With the help of Dylan Rhodes (Mark Ruffalo), they were able to become part of a magical society called "The Eye." Now their expertise must be called upon again with Danny Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), Jack Wilder (Dave Franco), Merrett Mckinney (Woody Harrelson), and a new ally named "Lula" (Lizzy Kaplan). The team has to come back together to expose a technology magnate who has conned them into performing under some false pretenses. They go on the run and they have to use their skills to find a way to clear themselves. Are they going to be able to pull off the biggest finale yet?
Jason Bourne- (July 29)- Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) thought his fight was over with the people who made him what he was. He was wrong. Reuniting with Writer/Director Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supermacy and The Bourne Ultmatum), Bourne has been traveling the World still trying to find out who he really is. After spending time off the grid, Jason is pulled back into the World he's been trying to keep out for a long time. The World has also changed from when he was an agent working for the Government. With enemies or allies at every turn, Bourne is drawn back into a conflict that only he can stop. Will Jason be able to find a way to do it?
