This past Saturday, Feb. 20th from 10-11:30 a.m., the Little Ducklings Preschool class paired up with Norwich Rehab to create a fun filled morning for both young and old. From the two-year old preschooler to the 101-year old resident, this event helped spark creativity and exploration through painting and sensory experiences. Previously, in January of 2016, the preschool age kids brought their own artwork to the residents at Norwich rehab, an event that is more significant than it would seem, as many residents shared how the artwork was still hanging and seeing the children reminded them of their own grandchildren. Now with a chance to interact and work together, the bridge of Art Across the Ages was truly a success. Little Ducklings Preschool now located in their new location in the Council of the Arts building is hoping to continue working with Norwich Rehab which is located on Calvary Drive, in Norwich. The plan is to possibly organize an event for roughly April of 2016 and a mention of possibly bringing in DrumZZone out of the Binghamton area is the idea for the next event. Open house for The Little Ducklings preschool will be on March 14, from 5:30-7 p.m.
