OXFORD – In a rare homecoming, Matt Nakoa returns to 6 On the Square this Saturday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. for an intimate concert that doubles as a fundraiser for a local chapter of PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization, providing scholarships and grants to women).

Originally hailing from Plymouth in rural northwestern Chenango County, Nakoa has spent the last decade or so as a true traveled working musician with recent layovers the likes of Texas, Oregon, North Carolina, the midwest, and NYC.

And while life on the road is his calling card, Nakoa inevitably seeks the refuge of his home of Boston to write and record his works.
