GREENE – A Town of Greene resident and predicate felon was arrested Wednesday for the manufacture of methamphetamine and found to have more than 30 ounces of liquid meth in his possession, according to authorities.
Authorities said that on March 2, 2016 at approximately 1 p.m., Deputy O’Hara of the Chenango County Sheriff's Office and his K9 partner, Jeroen, along with other members of New York State Parole, conducted a “knock and talk” at 518 Cummings Road in the Town of Greene.
This was a result of receiving information of methamphetamine possibly being produced at the residence. During the investigation, police discovered more than 30 ounces of liquid methamphetamine along with several ingredients and laboratory equipment used to manufacture the drug.
Glenn E. O’Connor, 47, was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, a class A-II felony; unlawful manufacturing methamphetamine in the third degree, a class D felony; and possessing the precursors to methamphetamine, a class E felony.
At the time of the arrest, O’Connor was on parole for a previous charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.
