OXFORD — Fort Hill American Legion Post 376 recently held an awards ceremony at the Post Home. Awards were given for continuous years of membership in the American Legion. Post Commander Darlene Ardron made the presentations to the Legionnaires. Membership chair and Past President Jeanie Petersen filled in for President Teri Webb-van Almen, to make the presentations to the Auxiliary members.

Of special note for the Legionnaires was Ronald Blanford with 25 years, Darlene Ardron with 35 years, James Pollard with 40 years, Dennis Youngs with 45 years, Bruce Wackford with 50 years, Cora Swartout with 50 years, Warren Stone with 63 years, James Paden with 60 years, and John Whitbeck with 70 years.
