NORWICH - The stage is set to host a big name in contemporary Christian music at Calvary Baptist Church in Norwich.

For the second year, Calvary Baptist will welcome a high-profile name in the Christian music industry to play a concert for the general public. Finding Favour, the Georgia-born musical group whose work has earned much acclaim in the Christian entertainment industry, will perform at the church starting at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, May 22. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m.

“We believe that music is a great way that God works, so we’re so excited to have opportunities like this,” said Calvary Baptist Church member and event organizer Tina Lindridge. “I know that for whoever shows up, God will work in their heart in some way, some how, and we would be thankful for that. I hope that people will take some good from it.”

Finding Favour came onto the contemporary Christian music scene with the release of their self-titled EP in 2013. The EP had two choice singles, “Slip On By” and “Shake the World,” which saw widespread radio air play and were met with positive reception in the industry.
