SHERBURNE — A 14-year-old Madison youth was fatally injured in an ATV accident in the Town of Sherburne late Thursday evening, according to county officials.

Shortly before 8 p.m., the Chenango County 911 Center was alerted of the incident at 305 Blanding Road, approximately 2.5 miles southwest of the Village of Sherburne between the intersections of County Highway 23 and Steamsawmill Hill.

Advanced Life Support crews were requested to the scene, and LifeNet was requested to be placed on standby.
