NORWICH – Both the Norwich and Oxford Fire Departments responded to a fire on Mitchell Street, in the City of Norwich, yesterday evening, June 16. The fire allegedly started in the kitchen of the second floor apartment, although that is not confirmed. According to authoritites, One person was taken to Chenango Memorial Hospital for minor smoke inhalation.
