NORWICH – The Chenango County Court convened for a morning session on Monday, July 18, where the case of Kristina N. Hyer was heard.
Hyer, 30, of Unadilla, appeared in court with appointed attorney Aaron Dean. District Attorney Joseph McBride represented the people of Chenango County, while the Honorable Judge Frank B. Revoir Jr. presided over matters.
It was alleged that sometime during May, 2015, Hyer possessed a stolen debit card, which she used to rent a room at the Susquehanna Motel in Bainbridge, costing $165. Hyer also faces separate charges of fourth and fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property, petit larceny, criminal possession of a forged instrument and forgery in Delaware County.
In an agreed upon disposition with the DA's Office, Hyer agreed to enter a plea of guilty to the class E felony of criminal possession in the fourth degree.
