SHERBURNE - The Sherburne Historic Park Society is pleased to announce that they will be hosting Heritage Day on the last Saturday in July once again this year.
Heritage Day has been a staple of the Historic Park Society for nearly 15 years. It began as a way to celebrate and host a group of civil war re-enactors who were coming to Sherburne to research the soldiers that they represented. A potluck dinner would be held Friday night, then the soldiers would be left to camp at the Historic Park for the night, civil war style. Sometimes, the Boy Scouts would join the adventure.
