Don't want to see it inside the city. Put it away from the general population.

There is a huge need for inpatient rehab facilities. Recently we have had a family member who is in extreme need and is even asking for rehab but so far there isn't a spot for her. She is still waiting. It is no wonder that there is the issue there is, because they are unable to get the help they need. There aren't enough facilities/spaces for those who truly need and want to get help.

Yes.... We need a working drug and addiction program here in Chenango County

It is a small community and family and friends associated with the drug addict may have the same problems, bringing more drug issues to our community. Better suited for a city area.

I think starting an intensive outpatient program with safe housing available for recovering addicts makes more sense. This approach saves local tax dollars.

I am for it .I am tired of county residents being sent to Willet only to be dumped back out on the streets because of missing paper work. As a taxpayer, when someone is sentenced to Willet ,my money goes to another county. If we had a re-Hab here at least it would create jobs, and folks who have to go would have abetter chance at success. Let's Face it the State NEEDS more mental health care Facilities , re-habs, half-way houses, crisis intervention units, and NON-UNION Social Workers.

I think this would be very beneficial for our community and it's residents. We have so many people using and suffering due to lack of help in this area. I am a recovering alcoholic and drug addict and I know how much rehabilitation programs help. This would be so good for our community.

We need more important things medically, besides send them out of our county.

A drug rehab should be more than just a couple of months it should like a year or more and they have to stay there that long. Where they can't get to the drug or drugs they were using. Have a friend that has gone into rehab many times only for a couple of month when they get out right back to the drugs they go

There is a serious drug problem in this area. I believe we need to provide help for those willing to help themselves.

As the war on drugs that began in 1971 proves, prisons don't work.

WE HAVE PROGRAMS IN CHENANGO COUNTY...THAT ARE NOT UTILIZED NOW FOR THIS KIND OF PROBLEM!!

We need to start somewhere. Too many deaths, arrests,from drugs. people need rehab with jail sentence they are not cured of habit and keep on drugs. parents need to do a better job raising their children or their will be consequences. they get their character at an early age, they don't just decide to use drugs at a later age.

We have a huge epidemic of drug use in Chenango County - which I know is everywhere. However there is no treatment facility here. For many people, they simply don't have the means to travel to Broome and Onondoga County. This also includes families/friends that will be there to help support those with a drug addiction. The rehab centers in other counties are also full, the wait list being long.
