SHERBURNE – The boys varsity soccer team at Sherburne-Earlville would not fair well against the visiting Adirondack Wildcats on Sept. 20.
Adirondack would knock off S-E at home, winning 2-1 over the Marauders due to a second half score from Andy Scouten.
“The Adirondack Wildcats won on the road as Sean Baks opened the scoring early in the first half and Andy Scouten scored the game winning goal early in the second half,” said S-E head coach Mike Rodriguez.
The tough fought loss for S-E would a 1-1 halftime goal, due to a Edward Geier to Kyle Cole kick that found the back of the net for the equalizing goal.
