AFTON - On November 7, at approximately 12:40 a.m., New York State Police at Sidney arrested Maxx A. Waters, 30, of Afton, NY for the misdemeanor of assault third degree and the violation of harassment second degree.

This arrest occurred after troopers responded to a dispute at a home on Hilltop Drive in the Town of Afton. An investigation determined that Waters had been in a physical dispute with two other victims. One of the victim's had received a laceration on their forehead.
