OTSELIC – The Otselic Valley boys varsity basketball team has now made it four losses in a row to open the new season, after failing to keep pace with McGraw who won by a large margin at 70-49.
The beat-down on Dec. 13, featured a competent OV squad, but a squad that simply could not match the scoring capabilities that McGraw brought to the court.
With a close halftime score of 37-26 in favor of the visiting Eagles, OV would emerge stagnant in their approach toward the second half – managing to only grab 23 second half points compared to McGraw who poured on the points with 33.
Leading the Vikings once again in their loss was their star player Jordan Baerga. Baerga finished the game with 31 points, 13 rebounds, 7 three point shots, 2 assists, 2 blocks and 2 steals – in what truly was a day to remember for the Viking.
