NEW BERLIN – The Unadilla Valley boy’s varsity basketball team recently competed in two games. The first was against Sidney last Friday, Jan. 20, which they lost on a final score of 71-48.
The Storm kept matters close in the first half, and went into the break down by just seven points. Sidney then closed the game out in the fourth to clinch the comfortable 23-point victory.
Sidney’s Ethan Finch was a thorn in the Storm side all night, as he hit a game-high 21 points for the Warriors. Best for UV on the night were Andrew Jackson, who finished with 12 points, and Dante Dye, who recorded 11 points in the defeat.
