BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge-Guilford girl’s varsity basketball team put their perfect record on the season to the test last Friday, Jan. 27, against Walton, and once again came out victors on a final score of 55-29.
The B-G offense came out firing, and shot 17 points in the first quarter alone - all the while stifling their opponents - who were limited to just four points.
Their offense faltered a little in the second, as they notched just six points, but they brought their offense prowess right back after the interval, logging 16 points in each of the final two quarters to calmly close out a 26-point win.
The Selfridge sisters shone once again in this game, each scoring 15 points respectively, while Megan Palmatier added another 10 points, along with 12 rebounds in the victory.
