Injury Riddled OV Girl’s Lose Consecutive Games

OTSELIC – The Otselic Valley girl’s varsity basketball team battled their way through adversity and injury troubles recently, but fell just short in their last two games, against Canastota and Stockbridge.

On Monday, Feb. 6, the team had just six players available on the roster as they took on Stockbridge, and ultimately lost on a final score of 76-22.

The game wasn’t really a contest after the first quarter, as Stockbridge surged out to an unassailable 25-point lead after the opening quarter, outscoring the Vikings 28-3.

Stockbridge extended their lead even further in the second quarter, and went in at the interval with a 36-point advantage.
