SHERBURNE – In their last game of the regular season, the Sherburne-Earlville girl’s varsity basketball team clinched a share of the League championship honors last night, Feb. 14, as they triumphed over Canastota on a final score of 46-28.
The Marauder offense was firing right out of the gate, as they racked up 21 points in the first quarter alone, and raced out to an early 17-point lead. They tacked on nine more in the second quarter to go in at the halftime break winning by a scoreline of 30-9.
