CONKLIN – Eight minutes and seven points is what separated the Purple Tornado girls basketball team from a chance to advance to a third straight class B championship game during their 2015-16 campaign as they fell to their nemesis’ from Susquehanna Valley for the second straight year in the Section IV playoffs.

The previous year, the Tornado dropped a 55-49 decision to the Sabers in the Section IV Class B finale and from there SV torched the rest of New York State on their way to a state title.
