Binghamton – The Binghamton Rumble Ponies, the Double-A affiliate of the New York Mets, have a new mascot and are searching for help from their fans to name him.

Introduced to the Southern Tier at Parade Day in early March, the Rumble Ponies fierce figurehead needs a nickname.

Fans can cast a vote for their favorite moniker at the Rumble Ponies website (www.bingrp.com) until April 3, 2017.

After receiving over 1,000 submissions, the Rumble Ponies have narrowed down the list of possible names to five finalists:
