OXFORD – The Binghamton Rumble Ponies recently paired up with Commerce Chenango – in an effort to expand their fanbase into Chenango County, hosting a Business After Hours event at The Stadium in Oxford.
Through the hard work of Audrey Robinson of Commerce Chenango, Dave Shull of The Stadium, and John Bayne Assistant General Manager/Director of Community Relations of the Binghamton Rumble Ponies – the event was planned, and the partnership was started.
The event served as a way to spread the word of the many improvements that have been made to the team, which will host approximately 70 home games in 2017 season.
The after-hours, which were held on March 22, due to the snowstorm pushing the original date back a week, went off without a hitch according to Bayne.
Following the completion of the business after-hours, the Rumble Ponies announced that they will also be featuring a new mascot for the season.
Fans are being asked to vote for their favorite ‘name’ at the Rumble Ponies website (www.bingrp.com) until April 3, 2017.
