NORWICH – Last week, the repairs to the damaged flag police in the East Side park were completed just in time for Memorial Day.
Repairs were completed Tuesday, May 23, and the flag was able to fly on the pole once again.

Gratitude was also extended to Ed Hook and Ken Mirabito, Sons of the American Legion members, for supplying the replacement parts for the flag pole and the flag.
It was reported that the repair was at no cost to the city.
