BAINBRIDGE – The sixth annual Rock in the Park charity concert is set to take place this year on Saturday, July 8 at General Clinton Park in Bainbridge, according to Event Producer Jason Hall.
The rain-or-shine concert will feature locally-based acts the likes of Fetish Lane, Sundown, Wreckless Marci, Woodshed Prophets, and the Jason Wicks Band.
This year's main act is reportedly national recording artist William Michael Morgan, whose number-one hit single 'I Met a Girl' has accrued over 11.7 million hits on YouTube.
Since its inception in 2012, the Rock in the Park charity concert has drawn area-music fans to an afternoon of renowned musical acts, both local and national, while raising money to be donated to charities.
Proceeds from this year's concert will be split between the Chenango SPCA (CSPCA) and Sarcoma Cancer Research.
In year's past, the event has been known to raise over $10,000.
Gates will open at General Clinton Park at 11 a.m. the day of the show, with the first act set to take the stage at noon.
Tickets for Rock in the Park are priced at $20 if purchased in advance, and $30 at the gate.
Tickets can be found on Ticketmaster.com, at the CSPCA in Norwich, at B&W Liquor in Bainbridge, or at Snips and Snails, also in Bainbridge.
