WHITNEY POINT – A second alligator sighting on the Tioughnioga River was confirmed by New York State Police on Sunday.
“The saga continues,” said Whitney Point Mayor Ryan Reynolds on Facebook. “With the New York State Police getting eyes on it, it's safe to say that a second alligator exists.”
The first 'gator Reynolds is referring to is an alligator that was caught in the same river behind the Whitney Point Fairgrounds by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation last weekend.
