ADIRONDACK – Sherburne-Earlville regrouped throughout the week like head coach Ed Holmquist hoped, taking down the Wildcats of Adirondack 51-0 Saturday afternoon.
As the Marauders defense clamped down on the Wildcats through the game, the S-E offense came together, scoring seven touchdowns.
The first of many came from S-E's Lincoln Owen, rushing from 39 yards out to find the end zone – tacking on six points. The extra point kick went through the uprights to make it 7-0 early.
Marauders' quarterback Gabe Irwin connected with Dawson Lagoe for 54 yards, jumping out to a 13-0 lead. The conversion would fail, keeping the score at 13.
