STOCKBRIDGE VALLEY – After a very emotional week, the Lady Vikings of Otselic Valley took the field for the first time since the passing of their peer Carter Rood.

OV jumped out to a great start as they recorded two goals early in the first half as Grace Costa and Summer Sergent each recorded a goal. Cassie Agren assisted on a goal as well as teammate Jessica Comfort.

Defensively, the Lady Vikings were able to shut down Stockbridge Valley’s tops scorer in the first half. But that changed in the second half as Stockbridge recorded four goals, three coming from Jill Jacobs for the hat-trick.
