CINCINNATUS – Four goals in a game is a fantastic feat to accomplish and that is exactly what Connor Stafford and his Cincinnatus squad did, defeating Otselic Valley boys soccer team at home by a score of 6-0.
“It was a struggle to get anything going tonight. We were flat and tired as we just previously played a night game at Morrisville-Eaton, yesterday,” said Otselic Valley head coach Jacob Preston. “Connor Stafford had a great game, along with Rem McCumber for Cincinnatus. For OV standout play was by Jonah VanVoorhis.”
OV fell into a 3-0 hole in the first half of play – with Connor Stafford scoring twice and Rem McCumber. Up 3-0 at the half – Cincy added three additional goals in the second half to top off the dominating night.
Scoring in the second half for Cincy was Connor Stafford – opening two goals – followed up by Caden Stafford with a goal of his own.
