GREENE – The Greene High School Interact Club held a loose change drive during the last week of September to donate to a police station affected by Hurricane Irma.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office in the Lower Keys area of Florida was selected based on on the location and damage from the storm. The Sheriff's Office provides law enforcement service to all of the Florida Keys, which include approximately 112 miles of islands branching off the southern tip of Florida, according to the office's website.
