BINGHAMTON – A team on the rise, Chenango Forks boys soccer team is recently coming off a win over the mighty Greene Trojans, who are ranked fifth in New York State for Class C – following that impressive win up with a home win over Norwich at 7-2, Forks continues to add to the win column.
Norwich’s offensive prowess shined – but not enough – as Luis Martinez and Mujuni Mutabiilwa each scored for the visiting Tornado.
However, despite avoiding the shutout, Chenango Forks made it a 4-1 halftime game – a big hole to climb out of.
Chenango Forks doubled Norwich’s shot production, having 14 shots and goal and 13 corners, while Norwich had just seven shots on goal.
