NORWICH – 10 individuals were indicted by a Chenango County grand jury on Wednesday for felony crimes including child sexual abuse, cocaine, meth, and heroin sales, along with the thefts of three cars and a motorcycle purchased using faulty checks.
• Dylan S. Norris was indicted for first-degree sexual abuse, a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
According to the indictment, on May 5, while in the Town of Norwich, Norris intentionally subjected a female child under 11 years old to sexual contact.
• Russell W. Davis was indicted on four counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony, and first-degree scheme to defraud, a class E felony.
On March 19, in the Town of Plymouth, Davis allegedly stole several vehicles using a faulty check. One of the vehicles was a 2006 Nissan Sentra for which he agreed to pay $2,000.
The indictment states Davis also stole a 1997 Subaru Legacy on June 7 by using the same method for $2,500, along with a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle on June 8 for $1,700, and a 2003 Chevrolet Impala on June 10 for $375. It said the total amount obtained by the defendant was $6,200 in stolen goods.
• Andres R. Figueroa was indicted on three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, class B felonies, and one count of first-degree criminal nuisance, a class E felony.
