New Law Prohibits Child Care Providers From Giving False Information

CHENANGO COUNTY – Child care providers in Chenango County are now subject to litigation if they lie about themselves to their employer.

Statewide law was signed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo last week that makes it a crime for an individual to intentionally make a false written statement about themselves or another person while being considered for employment or while being employed as a caregiver.
