Norwich American Legion Post 189 and VFW Post 2782 visited the Oxford Veterans' Home on Friday, October 27 to donate the proceeds from a jointly organized benefit concert by the Ferguson and Rogers band on September 1. The concert marked the first ever collaborative effort by the Norwich American Legion and VFW, and ultimately raised $1,533 to go towards library improvements and the residents’ Christmas fund at the Oxford Veterans’ Home.
