CANTON – The fall student-athletes who earned Liberty League All-Academic honors were announced by the Liberty League Commissioner Tracy King Thursday, November 5. Of the 619 athletes named throughout the conference, former Norwich graduate Cameron Edwards – now a member of the St. Lawrence Saints football team – made the list as one of the 66 Saints athletes who were awarded the honor.
To be recognized as a member of the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30. The Liberty League elevated the GPA requirement from 3.20 to 3.30 in 2016-17 to follow the established standard for eligibility for College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America awards.
