OXFORD – Oxford will kick-off the holiday season with the Holiday Festival of Lights and visit from Santa Claus this Saturday, December 2.
Join Oxford Mayor Terry Stark, who will be dusting off his top hat to officiate the holiday spectacular and welcome in the holiday season.
The Oxford Holiday Committee (OHC), a nonprofit organization, has creatively designed a layout to decorate the park with as bright and dazzling a display as possible.
Following a couple carols, Stark will announce the Oxford Academy Primary School award recipients of the fifteenth annual “Recycled Holiday Ornament Contest," a contested sponsored by the OHC as a way of exposing children to the fun of decorating and benefits of recycling, while being included in the ceremony.
