NORWICH – The Twin Tiers International Film Festival in Norwich announced last week it is accepting submissions for the second annual film festival slated to take place in September 2019.

The first Twin Tiers International Film Festival took place this year at Chenango Arts Council's Martin W. Kappel theater on September 7, 8, and 9, the same weekend as Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival.

The festival featured screenings of 52 films submitted in a variety of categories including documentary, comedy, horror, drama, animation, sci-fi and more. On Wednesday, festival director Christopher Pike announced a new category aimed at student filmmakers will be included in next year's festival, called "Made in NY."
