NORWICH – The Lady Tornado controlled the tempo of the game from the opening tip to the final minutes as they rolled to a 9-234 win over the Chenango Forks Blue Devils Friday night, Norwich’s extending their win streak to four since their only set back of the season a week ago.
Norwich’s balance scoring saw five finish with double figures and everyone who was able to play in the game score at least two points. The Purple Tornado’s hot shooting night allowed the home team to put up 20-plus point in each of the four quarters of action.
Their usual intense defensive scheme game Norwich a 23-12 lead at the end of the first quarter. Halea Eaton, starting point guard for the Tornado, knocked down two 3-pointers for six of her nine points in the same eight minutes of play.
