NORWICH – Construction is currently underway to remodel a facility into a Chenango Dialysis Center in Norwich's Tops Plaza.

During the Code Enforcement report at the city joint committee meeting Tuesday, Norwich Fire Chief Jan Papelino provided city officials with a codes update on the project, which is taking place in Suite 6a at 54 East Main Street.

He said the construction company in charge of the remodeling has been doing extensive work, including an overhaul of all the flooring and plumbing. City Code Enforcement Officer Amy Donnison performed an inspection on the facility's plumbing and electric, Papelino said, and the next step of the project will be putting up sheet rock in the center.
