NORWICH—The Chenango Arts Council is pleased to announce the world famous Popovich Comedy Pet Theater will be making a stop at the Martin Kappel Theater on Saturday, February 9 beginning at 7 p.m.

Voted the “best family show” in Las Vegas, Gregory Popovich's stage performance features a European-style circus extravaganza including physical comedy, juggling, acrobats from the Moscow Circus, plus highly intelligent dogs and cats living together on stage for one night only.

Popovich, a fifth-generation circus performer who learned early on how to develop strong bonds with animals, rescued the majority of his performers from shelters all over the country, and transformed them into Las Vegas stars.

As a gold medal winner in Paris, and a special award winner in Monte Carlo, Popovich and his pets have also been finalists on “America’s Got Talent” in addition to making the rounds on late night TV as guests of the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The David Letterman Show,” and “Late Night with Craig Ferguson.”
