NORWICH – The City of Norwich Police Department is warning homeowners and plowing businesses against moving snow into city streets because of the potential dangers built up ice blocks can pose for pedestrian vehicles and city plows.
According to City of Norwich Police Department Assistant Chief Scott Burlison, some homeowners and companies working for them to remove snow from their property have inadvertently put other drivers and city plow workers at risk by shoving their snow and ice into the street.
