NORWICH – After a community driven fundraising campaign lead by parents, local businesses, and school officials, the Norwich High School and Middle School Archery Teams had the opportunity to travel to Kentucky for a national archery competition earlier this month.

The team traveled to the, “National Archery in our Schools Program” held in Louisville, Kentucky from May 8 through May 11, and over 16,000 archers participated in the event. 27 of those archers were from Norwich after a rigorous fund raising campaign held by local businesses and parents in an effort to make the trip happen.
