NEW BERLIN – The New Berlin Boy Scout Troop 61 hosted the 2019 Soap Box Derby on June 15th as part of the 75th Anniversary celebration.

Boy Scouts from NY City, Pennsylvania, Morris, and New Berlin raced down Moss Street with both huge smiles and great concentration.

Each scout received a patch. Each troop's top racers were awarded a first and second place trophy. The top three finishers of the day were from Pennsylvania Troop 89, NYC Troop 5, and Morris Troop 3.

A special feature of the event were the two 2-seater cars that those with special needs enjoyed - the men from Moss Street and Pathfinders.
