NORWICH – Three people were indicted last week for felony crimes including criminal sale and criminal possession of a controlled substance, along with grand larceny.
Kelli K. Johnson, 35, of Plymouth was indicted on fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
According to her indictment, at approximately 12:56 p.m., on June 25, in the Town of Plymouth, Johnson, while acting in concert with another, possessed around 16 ounces of methamphetamine with the intent to sell it. The indictment states Johnson acted in a way that would likely cause injury to the physical, mental, or moral welfare of a child under the age of 17 by subjecting the child to meth.
Chenango County Sheriff Ernest Cutting reported that Johnson's arrest came after a lengthy investigation and no-knock search warrant execution.
