NORWICH – A Mercy Flight helicopter visited the Chenango Memorial Hospital Friday as part of an education program to help students take interest in the medical profession.

About 17 local students greeted the three-person flight crew, consisting of a pilot, flight nurse and flight paramedic.

“The Career Days program is made possible thanks to a grant from the Otis Thompson Foundation,” said Melissa Stagnaro, Director of Fundraising and Business Development.
