NORWICH – Erica Gage sealed the fourth and final point for the Norwich Purple Lady Tornado to claim their first win of the season over Windsor 4-2 Thursday morning.

Gage, who was making her varsity singles match debut Thursday, battled for the win. Playing against Windsor’s Sophia Kabat, Gage feel in the first set 4-6.

Responding in the second set, the Norwich senior won 6-3 and forced a third set tiebreaker where she controlled and took the match point with a 6-1 set win.
