OWEGO – Both Norwich girls and boys cross country teams were in action Saturday morning at the Owego Invitational at the Indians’ high school course. The Norwich boys finished 16th out of 23 teams while the girls placed 15th.

Reaching the finish line first for the Tornado boys team was Steven Kaman, coming in at a time of 17:51.6. Kaman’s time placed him 29th out of 185 runners. Five runners later, Makaio Sutton came across the tape at 17:58.8.

Less than 20 seconds later, Norwich teammate Julian Roque finished his race. Placing 51st, Roque ran a time of 18:19.4.
